Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineers (DME/ BSc) preferably with some management qualifications & with exposure to Business development/ sales of Industrial products could also be considered.

The customer profile includes OEMs of water and waste water treatment plants, consultants, architects, and industries like Automotive, Paints & Coatings, Inks, Chemicals, petrochemicals, oil & Gas, General Engineering, water treatment, Food & beverage, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industry.
The day to day activities includes prospecting, identifying opportunities, making effective customer calls in and outside the region, submission quotations, follow up, technical & commercial collection, collecting information on competition and market scenario etc.
The job involves, making 4-5 customer calls a day. The job involves extensive travel across the region, meeting customer, building relationship and business..
Job responsibilities also involves like techno-commercial discussions, securing orders, payment.
