Backup & Storage

v Evaluate customer needs based on applications requirements, current capacity, and growth trends

v Backup tools (Commvault Simpana 11 SP14,HPDP 10.1,Netbackup 8.0,Backup Exec versions 10/14.2/15/20/20.5

v Restore, recover the data from the backup system as required SAP for Oracle,MSSQL,Exchange database, AS filesytem, Oracle Database

v Manage and maintain the backup systems

v Ensure backups run to schedule & retention in met

v Verify all full backup jobs

v Maintain an audit Trail of backups restores.

v Provide reports on job success/failure

v Perform file restores as required

v Regularly validate backup jobs

v Backup performance and configuration ,version upgrade tasks(Commvault install iData agents)&Backup Exec,Netbackup,HPDP

v Tape management

v Perform TapeLibray firmware upgrade activities

v Analyse complex hardware and software issues associated with backup-related technologies, including Backup Exec NetBackup, Commvault, HPDP and Enterprise Vault

v Performing backup Exec upgrade activities through Change management process

v Participate in capacity planning Tape/Disk and performance discussions

v Provide technical services for customers in a backup environments

v Provide resolution IM/RF as per SLA

v perform / follow backup related activity as per SOP

v LUN Management, Host management on HDS VSP, VSP G200, HUS 130,EMC VNX, VNXe 3200 & NetApp FAS 3140

v Implemented Virtualization of External storage to HDS VSP storage

v Storage configuration of HNAS

v File system & CIFS share creation in HNAS

v Managing of volumes & CIFS shares in NetApp

v Monitoring and troubleshooting on EMC VNX5300,VNXe 3200, Netapp, HDS VSP storage, HNAS3080, HUS 130 and Brocade switches300 &6520
