Position Title: Head Buyer & Merchandiser (Senior Manager / AGM)

Min Qualifications: NIFT preferred / Retail Management or any related course on Merchandising

Industry : Must be from apparel/lifestyle brand and Candidate must have handled the role on a Pan India basis.



Must have Exposure in the following :

• Must be from domestic brands those who are sourcing/merchandising for Indian garment brands and not large Export / Buying Houses. Note please our volumes are not as large. Candidate must be aware of the niche brand and lesser volume of products before applying for the job
  
• Thorough understanding of apparels construction / garment making and ability to work with design team as the candidate will have to work with garment fits. She must understand the garments in detail and costs of construction depending on the styles
  
• Exposure to catalog design and management
  
• Thorough understanding on merchandising capabilities as She would have to handle couple of merchandisers, ensures timely delivery of merchandise and coordinate with factories
  
• Exposure to both retail buying and merchandising, works closely with VM on the products that are to be highlighted for a particular season
  
• Must have knowledge of sourcing trims & Retail Planning
  
• Must have working knowledge of tailoring so that candidate may suitable handle tailored garment display styles, types etc to showcase her tailoring ability
  
• Thorough understanding of retail category management & Retail Merchandise Planning
  
• Must be equipped to converse with Agencies / People from all across the country and must have good communication skills
  

Requirements
Preferably handled woven fabrics and not knits only



Years of Experience: 10 years - 15 years

Job Location: Bangalore (Candidate will be required to travel very frequently)

Max Hike: As per Industry standards.

System requirement: Intermediate knowledge of Excel / PPT
