Amazon Recruiting Engine Team is reinventing how we recruit at Amazon. Recruiting the right candidates across all of Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. As the search for talent becomes more competitive, we are bringing together recruiting, science, tech, programs, and process teams to find and hire candidates who raise the bar more quickly and efficiently. Within the Recruiting Engine, this position is for the Recruiting Services team which comprises of scheduling and non-scheduling activities and has the following teams: Employee Referral Program, Students Program, Rehire Eligibility, Systems Support, Candidate & Travel Expense Management, Internal Loops Scheduling, Online Assessments, and Phone Screens.

Position Description:

Recruiting Services is recruiting for a Program Manager position in Hyderabad, India location to join its team. In this role you will lead some of the new key strategic projects that are to change the way we operate our business over the next few years, with high visibility to the business. manage one of teams working on a new project. We are looking for someone with strong experience in progam management and process excellence. Driving programs to improve employee and candidate experience will be of utmost importance in this role. You will get an opportunity to collaborate with the broader regional recruiting teams and global program teams to partner and standardize processes that ensure seamless recruiting experience to the candidates.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

. Delivery of Recruiting Services implementation project work stream(s), accountable for defining and transitioning new services to support employees in India locations.
. Partner with Recruiting Services teams and implement best practices, develop automation and technology based solutions.
. Through effective project management, support the development of frustration free Associate processes by questioning and challenging at all times, driving to the desired end state (a fully integrated and tiered Recruiting Shared Services model) and ensuring the voice of the customer is reflected in everything that we do.
. Build and maintain successful partnerships with the global recruiting teams, recruiting stakeholders.
. Work with and establish project teams and ensure that all agreed strategic projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget, to include: process improvements, HR systems and delivery capability.
. Maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholder to ensure teams are engaged and effectively utilizing the best tools available.
. Report on project progress and status.
. Assess new initiatives and projects to evaluate how they can support the strategic goals of Recruiting Services and its growth.
. Maintain key relationships with HR partners to ensure non duplication of projects and to drive global engagement on key initiatives.
. Site Readiness and Change Management: Develop change intake process, manage pre-launch readiness, communicate change through standard communication mechanism/template and drive post launch adoption ramp.
. Standardize Recruitment Services (RS) delivery and ensure calibrated and uniform support of services offered.
. Develop and drive programs to improve quality and efficiency of service through defect elimination in partnership with RS delivery teams.
. Develop long term sustainable mechanisms and Standard Operating Procedures.


. 2+ years experience in program or project management
. Bachelors Degree
. 2+Years of experience working in cross-functional programs, ideally including external and internal stakeholders.
. Proven project management experience
. Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
. Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action and result oriented.
. Works effectively as part of a global team, possessing strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, can flourish handling multiple tasks, workload, changing priorities, and tight deadlines
. Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
. Excellent written and verbal communications skills - able to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations.
. Knowledge of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control) problem solving techniques
. Proficient in CRM tools, Excel and SQL

. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma analytical techniques is a plus
. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP/Prince2) is a plus
. Experience in Regional/Global projects and/or leading cross-functional projects would be advantageous
. Experience of working in a shared services environment and of the elements required to support the development of services, driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact
. Proven experience and expertise in HR Operations within an intense fast paced customer driven environment.
