To help us fulfill this mission, we are looking for a smart, customer-obsessed and analytical Marketing leader to help grow our digital video business and create innovative and engaging customer experiences. The candidate for this role will be responsible for planning and executing best in class video strategies aimed at driving discovery, trials and engagement with the right content. The candidate should be a seasoned marketer with deep customer marketing knowledge, and broad marketing experience across a wide span of disciplines including acquisition, engagement, and/or product marketing. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal teams, and driving programs that reach millions of customers, as well as an aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing is highly valued. This role will be based out of Mumbai.

Basic Qualifications :
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

This is an individual contributor role with an opportunity to deliver through 10+ product, marketing and business teams in India. A seasoned marketer, coupled with sharp analytical skills, high ownership and customer obsession, and proven ability to influence without authority will be critical to succeed in this role.
When successful, this leader will influence tens of millions of customers to choose Amazon as their preferred destination for consuming entertainment content.

Growth and opportunity sizing: Work backwards from customers' needs to develop and articulate a bold vision for Prime Video acquisition and engagement across Amazon.
Goal setting: Set business and customer engagement goals and KPIs by clearly understanding different cohorts and their CX needs - establish monthly, quarterly and annual goals for the business.
Marketing Operations: Execute the vision proposed by systematically running a well-defined program with clarity on projects, ownership, and delivery timelines
Business Reporting: Publish program performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews
Stakeholder Management: influence senior management across 10+ teams to support the delivery of program goals by aligning on the problems, proposed solutions, effort and timelines
Customer Experience: Simplify the CX and develop a clear marketing strategy on Amazon via a thorough experimentation [A/B Tests] roadmap.

I) On-service merchandising within the Amazon ecosystem

. Storefront or the home page is the default starting point for a majority of our customers and as such is the most critical discovery layer for Prime Video content within the Amazon ecosystem. The candidate will program PV content on the storefront across multiple devices with the objective to drive Prime member acquisition and engagement. This is done through identifying the right content for the right customer, getting creative assets made by working with design team/agencies, scheduling those assets on the storefront through Amazon tools.

. Own and deliver results on site merchandising goals of increasing discovery of content and trials, customer engagement, improving retention and creating SOPs (standard operating procedures) to define the marketing support on the back of a strong experimentation roadmap [A/B Tests]. The candidate is expected to own design, production, scheduling and all content testing plans. Build, maintain, analyze and communicate performance reports Recommend and implement optimizations based on learnings and insights.

. Dashboards & optimization: Working with peers and business analysts globally to develop actionable dashboards basis which campaigns can be optimized.

II) Internal Partnerships

. Identify opportunities to build customer backed solutions for Prime Video amongst the various Amazon businesses in India. Build synergy by working closely with cross Prime benefit teams to create a wide canvas for video customers.

. Work with the Product and Engagement Automation teams to identify opportunities for India for extending the current video marketing program beyond its present use.
. Prime Video Search goes beyond PV.com to Amazon.in which is an important element of driving engagement of the service considering it's a high-intent action by the customer. The person in this role will need to work closely with the global Search team to continuously improve PV's on-site search experience.
. Improving On-site Customer Experience: Undertaking creative testing to identify which routes lead to higher acquisition and therefore engagement.
