The ACCS Planning organization owns the end-to-end workforce planning and execution of Amazon's candidate service network. Our forecasting, headcount planning, scheduling, and real-time management solutions are responsible for numerous daily decisions needed to provide efficient and frustration-free support to candidates willing to work for Amazon. We are looking for an experienced professional with high level of autonomy, high level of judgment during leading real time mitigation actions to protect Candidate experience and Customer Service Associates experience, plan and drive Automation along with streamlining command center processes.

Business/Team Introduction

The Amazon Global Workforce Staffing (WFS) Organization is a critical element in bringing on talent to deliver our customer experience around the globe. Our team hires over 700k hourly associates annually and is growing to more than 1M in the next 24 months WFS is performing an historic and unprecedented task to bring new people to work for Amazon Operations.

The Amazon's Candidate Connection Services (ACCS) team is one branch of WFS which provides email, chat and phone support to candidates applying for jobs with Amazon. This customer service for candidates removes technical barriers in the hiring process, relieving local HR and Staffing teams from providing Tier 1 candidate support. Candidate Services standardizes candidate messaging and collects actionable data on candidate issues.


As a Manager for Global Command Center, you should have a proven record of managing complex project and program delivery, from conception and design through implementation, measurement, closure and handover. Responsibilities will include:
. Set business objectives to deliver best system/process, product/feature with most efficient use of resources and clear and measurable success criteria to drive functional goals of standardization and efficiency gain by driving automation.
. Reduce the manual work and infuse alert mechanisms / bots and efficient process to protect SL.
. Have end to end responsibility of Real Time Management for all regions. Ensure coverage, on time delivery, manage incidents impacting WFS CS, work with capacity planners for interval level planning and skill management.
. Engage with stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
. Prepare/present business review documents to leadership through effective communication both verbally and in writing.
. Drive new initiatives and metrics within GCC. Make data driven contributions to drive business strategies and deliver goals with measurable impact on candidate / vendors / cost.
. Identify and evaluate potential risk in processes and determine appropriate corrective action with minimal direction from leadership
. Work with ACCS Planning leader in devising and executing GCC strategy in terms of vision, people, process and technology

As Manager:
. Lead a team of GCC team managers, specialist and Automation Program Managers and support worldwide network of business units, and operational centers.
. Provides regular coaching and feedback to direct reports to help grow functional skills and leadership capability.
. Demonstrates understanding of performance and leadership bar and effectively applies to hiring decisions.
. Understands and communicates the department's vision to team members.Sets clear expectations and builds robust launch plans for new team members.
. Understands team members' engagement and motivation, works to retain high performers.
. Sets objectives with team members that enable achievement of department and functional goals.
. Assesses behaviors and coaches team members on demonstrating Amazon's Leadership Principles within their role.

. Graduate in Science/Engineering/Technology/Statistics and/or Post Graduate in Business Management.
. Experience of automating processes and integrating associated systems with advanced technology solutions such as RPA and other automation tools Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, develop new ideas and creative solutions to very ambiguous problems.
. 10+ Years of work experience - in consulting /planning /workforce management with at least 2+ years in managing 10-15 member teams
. Strong people management experience in managing employees from Top Tier Schools.
. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of influencing and motivating others to achieve results.
. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
. Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

. MBA from premium institutes.
. Certification in process excellence (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
. Driving Standard work, strong program management skills and lean experience strongly preferred
. Ability to set high bar goals for the team and guide them towards achieving the same.
. Act as an advocate of Intelligent Automation and Business Process Management
. Natural curiosity and desire to learn
