JML Apps Lead
  • Manage the shift and operations of the GTA team, handle day to day projects and tasks by meeting SLA and regulatory/Audit requirements.

What will you be doing?
  • The role involves the responsibilities of operations management and to ensure tasks are assigned to team members and they process them to meet SLAs.
  • Complex issue investigation and coordination to closure by taking end to end ownership.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting where appropriate
  • Key responsibilities include Request fulfilment, Incident, change & Problem Management.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with relevant business and IT personnel
  • Participate in planned Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Escalate technical and non technical issues to management and support teams as required
  • A successful candidate for this role should be able to provide guidance & coach the team and handle escalations where necessary.
  • Manage customer's expectations through ongoing communication
  • Ensure all documented procedures are followed in relation to account administration and are up to date.
  • Liaise with Audit and IRM teams, ensuring best practice is adhered to at all times
  • Troubleshooting problems in relation to the applications supported and escalate technical and non technical issues to management and support teams as required
  • Ensure the tasks are processed in a timely manner and SLAs are maintained
  • Manage customer's expectations through ongoing communication
  • Liaise with QA team for Data clean-up activities and related ad-hoc projects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Group Governance and Security standards, in particular to the above responsibilities
  • Mentor team members and colleagues to develop their personal competencies.
  • Facilitate meetings on a frequent basis to identify problems and continuous improvement solutions
  • Provide strategic direction to Barclays Identity Management Roadmap
  • Contribute to the firms compliance risk assessment process
  • Detailed analysis of repetitive manual processing and human error prone workloads. Work with Development/App Support teams to recommend new ways of automating such items.
  • Provide management metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis as required.
  • Analyse and prioritise projects to onboard new services into GTA.
  • Excellent in Stakeholder management and collaborative.

What we're looking for:
  • IT related degree with majors in Computer or related discipline from a reputed/top tier institute
  • All over 10 + years experience in technical support, Access and Identity Management and experience with ITIL concepts and best practices
  • 5+ years Team management experience
  • In-depth Knowledge on Access and Identity Management & IT Service Management.
  • Strong analytic, incident management and problem management skill set
  • Experienced at implementing or managing risk management processes and tools.
  • Strong analytic, incident management and problem management skill set
  • Good understanding of financial regulatory and compliances standards
  • Good understanding of Information Security standards
  • ITIL V3 foundation certified
  • Must be very confident while communicating with senior business and IT management and should have good presentation skills
  • MS Excel / Word/ PowerPoint Advanced
  • Strong People management skills
