The Fin Solutions Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project , geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Fin Solution Sr. Analyst would be working on the Adjustments Reduction Program dedicated to the identification and remediation of adjustments in the E2E data lifecycle. This role will partner with various stakeholders across functions/business and geographies to identify sources of adjustments, design and implement an inventory tool, and leveraging a risk-based prioritization process, analyze and remediate adjustments at source.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribution in designing and implementation of strategic and tactical remediation plan to eliminate manual processes and touchpoints
  • Responsible for identification, inventory, and analysis of adjustments and related processes and systems.
  • Develop root cause analysis, recommendations and actions to fix root cause at source. Requires coordination with multiple business and product processor owners, Finance and Technology teams.
  • Plays a part in in defining an ongoing accountability framework for a sustainable governance and control process
  • Deliver results and influence change effectively across geographic and functional areas and levels.
  • Manage multiple priorities, plans and tasks and work across geographies.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
  • Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
  • Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural 'expert' representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent relational and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple diverse priorities and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with multicultural, geographical diverse stakeholders / partners.

Education:
  • Bachelors degree
  • CA/ degree or its equivalent is preferable
