JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title : Supervisor, Training
Location:-Goa
General Summary : Develop, implement, monitor, and update training programs for plant hourly employees to ensure uniform implementation of quality standards, safe operating practices and best manufacturing techniques. Maintain training records and evaluate training practices and programs to improve overall training effectiveness and minimize costs.
Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist in the assessment, selection, placement and orientation of hourly employees
• Plan and deliver training programs for plant personnel to make the transition from entry-level employees to qualified operators as efficient as possible. Retrain and update experienced personnel as required.
• Aid in authoring and development of Standard Operating Procedures and other controlled documents for all processes for the BU.
• Develop and maintain a tracking system to monitor training levels and certifications. Periodically review all certification requirements and update as necessary. Track required re-certifications.
• Review and standardize all existing training programs. Maintain and update programs to reflect new manufacturing practices, products, equipment, tooling, etc
• Communicate training schedules and timetables to all concerned. Work with supervisors to identify training needs. Develop action plans to address targeted areas like Skill block programs for the BU or soft skill programs for Team Leaders and Technicians.
• Track training cost. Maintain expenditures within budget limitations.
• Assist in providing an employee information system through posters and other publications by keeping current information available to employees.
• Any other relevant job as specified by management.

Qualification : Preferably Bachelors in related curriculum such as Engineering
Experience : Preferably 10+ years of relevant experience
Skills Required :
Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good Communication skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Good technical knowledge
• Teaching experience preferred
