Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise, research and craft articles on personal finance suitable for the Singapore market. Samples of these articles are in blog.bankbazaar.sg
- Monitor general consumer and personal finance trends in Singapore as reference for articles.
- Work with internal teams from ideation to execution
- Senior Content Strategist - recommend and brainstorm on relevant themes and topics to be covered on a monthly basis.
- Align articles with social media initiatives SEO team - align with publishing standards (e.g., interlinking, keyword analysis and inclusion, etc.) and style guides Designer - collaborate on visual executions be it a single image or rich media variations
- At least 4 years experience in content writing with proficient understanding of banking and personal finance in the context of the Singapore market.
- Experience in doing work for the Malaysian market is a plus.
Who you are:
- You LOVE creative writing and want to impact users through impactful and engaging communication.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Business / Communication / Journalism.
- Basic knowledge of content marketing and SEO best practices will be a plus.
- Basic proficiency in HTML will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in working with content management systems such as WordPress.
- You possess the ability to grasp and repackage complex topics in a simple, edgy but intelligent, clear and engaging manner.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people including product leads, designers & various functions across the organization.
- You have a sharp eye for detail, exceptional command over language, and highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to lead teams.
- You have an ability to multi-task and juggle several urgent content requests without getting flustered, letting quality slip or negatively impacting project timelines.
