Your field of responsibility
  • The GOT Organization is on journey to become Agile and adopt Agile as well as DevOps on a org-wide scale in line with wider GCIO and bank wide vision. To achieve this, to train the workforce on to Agile and/or DevOps and to handhold the trained resources during model adoption we need Agile Project Manager to manage all these activities. This PM role is to replace external consultant in London.
  • This person would be responsible for managing the demand, training, onboarding and any additional support in terms of Agile methodology to GOT wide functions.
  • This role will drive the transition from a consultancy model to an inhouse Agile support capability, therefore driving down the costs and making it more sustainable.
  • This role will partner with the Agile Competency Centre and wider team to drive the adoption.
  • Responsible for preparing and executing the Agile Roadmap for all functions within GOT and for providing centralized support to them for demand management, training, onboarding, handholding and any additional support needed to them.
  • Track the agile adoption across different programs as per the mutually agreed plan.
  • Provide Governance & control for the plan and manage all aspects including but not limited to RAID, Scope, Finance, Liaison & communication, Resources esp coaches and trainers etc.
  • Need to work closely with the functional Program/Project Manager as well as Agile Competency Center to deliver consistent and standardized support and instill any best-practices across the projects.

  • Work closely with GOT Program/Project Managers, Agile competency center and GOT Agile coach(es) and trainer(s) under guidance of Agile Adoption lead to drive Agile adoption across functions of GOT.

Your skills and experience
Must have
  • Strong Project Management Experience of 12-18 years managing large and multiple projects. Experience in implementing Agile end to end from ground up and conversion from other software methodology projects like waterfall is highly essential.
  • Well experienced in preparing program proposal, liaison with senior management and ability work with wide range of stakeholders is a must with excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills
  • Ability to convey and report clearly, accurately, and concisely through written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, driven and task oriented, as well as a team-player working seamlessly with colleagues around the world as well as able to manage a group of Agile/DevOps trainers and coaches
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to multi-task, handling ongoing projects as well as ad-hoc issues that demand immediate attention
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps project management methods and approaches, best practices
  • Experience in different SDLC methodologies and their pros & cons and different engagement models e.g. Managed capacity, managed services, managed outcome etc.
  • Must have knowledge of different Agile school of thoughts and understand their pros & cons as well as best practices
  • Successful track record of taking ownership and resolution of tasks and issues
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong capability with MS Office tools (e.g., Excel, Power-Point, SharePoint)
  • Willingness to work from EON, Kharadi, Pune.

Nice to have:
  • Agile Certification as Agile Leader, Program Consultant or equivalent
  • PgMP, PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent Certifications
  • Good knowledge of the investment banking business - front to back
  • Experience with IT oriented projects, user requirements development and testing
  • Experience working for a large, international corporation and comfortable working in a complex matrix organization
  • BE, MCA or equivalent
  • Proficient in banking regulatory environment
