Responsibilities


The Senior Staff Systems Engineer is responsible for providing senior technical contribution to customer integration, onboarding and migration. This role requires the good functional testing experience, preferably in banking products. This role requires a person who is a fast learner who should have deep understanding of Ondot solution. This role works closely with the stakeholders to provide technical ownership over onboarding and migration activities.
Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the onboarding/migration of existing external clients who sign up for the latest cloud system
• Migrate the external clients from legacy on-prem systems to the latest cloud systems following the outlined process and technical steps with 0 deviation in process
• Master the migration process and be the SME and single PoC for any technical debugging for migration issues
• Collaborate and lead the migration process interacting with cross functional teams including and not limited to Integration, Solution and Engineering
• Accountable for successful onboarding of all clients in cloud
• Responsible for any incremental (Modify/change/add features and capabilities) changes for external cloud clients based on customer requests
• Responsible for other related service onboarding as part of overall FI Onboarding.
• Responsible for documents all issues seen and track it to closure working with cross functional stake holders
• Responsible for keeping all runbooks up to date based on field learnings
• Interact with cross functional stake holders and provide product feedback for any improvements.
• Incorporate the field learnings and recommend for any process improvements.
• Serve as backup SME for in-house Migration and onboarding activities.
• Responsible for maintaining the external client Sandboxes
• Report weekly/monthly stats to management

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of industry experience
• 8+ years of experience in functional testing of digital banking or payment products
• Experience configuring and debugging production systems
• Experience working across multiple teams (Engineering/Product/Delivery/Sales) and coordinating to get tasks completed
• Should have excellent attention to detail, should also have ingenuity and strong problem-solving skills in order to swiftly and creatively deal with issues faced during change windows.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: javascript, python, PowerShell
• Execution and delivery-oriented. Comfortable with ambiguity, context switching between different types of work (administrative, people, project, operations, etc)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
