Instructional Designer Position Summary: Apply suitable instructional design (ID) theories to develop engaging online courses. Consulting/collaborating with SMEs for needs analysis and applying ID expertise to meet the course objectives Analyzing the raw content and converting the same into storyboards Visualizing graphic elements for content screens as required Identifying interactive elements for incorporating in courseware (e.g. audios, videos, animations, knowledge checks, etc.) Developing ILT/WBT courseware and/or aids in pharmaceutical areas such as products, processes, and technical aspects Ensuring that the content is aligned to objectives and adheres to design guidelines Researching and keeping abreast of evolving instructional design standards and innovations Knowledge Knowledge of development models and/or learning theories like ADDIE, ARCS, Gagne?s, etc. Knowledge of evaluation models like Bloom?s taxonomy, Kirkpatrick?s model, etc. Hands-on knowledge of authoring tool - Articulate to develop SCORM-compliant modules Skills Ability to visualize graphic objects in sync with the course content objectives Technical familiarity with publishing formats (e.g. HTML5, PDF, SWF) Good comprehension, visualization, and analytical skills
