Customer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex systems.
Responsibilities:

• 
  Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
• 
  Set up test beds / Test Servers
• 
  Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
• 
  Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware
• 
  Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use
• 
  Assisting Engineers with day-to-day requests
• 
  Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• 
  Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
• 
  Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
• 
  Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
• 
  Partner with network users about how to solve existing system problems
• 
  Provide technical support / troubleshoot in the lab
• 
  Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
• 
  Train people in computer system use
• 
  Collect data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements
• 
  Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement
• 
  Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
• 
  Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation
• 
  Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs
• 
  Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases.
• 
  Other network administration responsibilities as they arise
• 
  Designs, develops, maintains, and communicates project plans and schedules for network installations with prioritized requirements
• 
  Develops and implements standards and processes for system analysis and support
• 
  Manages the evaluation of software and hardware systems to ensure compatibility across the network
• 
  Coordinates the acquisition, analysis, and installation of hardware and software at remote locations
• 
  Develops and implements policies in support of network and data systems for the organization
• 
  Manages and coordinates the planning and installation of network software and hardware

Education and Experience Required:

• 
  First Level University degree: a) technical, b) non-technical (i.e., Bachelor of Arts/ Science). Typically 3-4 year completion beyond High School level, BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 
  5-7 years experience in relevant technologies and customer environments.
• 
  5-7 years of Network design and troubleshooting experience is a plus
• 
  Relevant industry qualification where applicable.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 
  Must be able to create full Documentation including diagrams and password backups.
• 
  Deep VMWare knowledge with ability to understand manage and adapt to a large complex network
• 
  Design, Implement, manage complex Networking environments in support of LaaS (Lab as a service)
• 
  Knowledge and experience with virtualized lab environments like EvENG.
• 
  Design, Implement, and Manage backup solutions leveraging storage replication, and multiple backup solutions such as Veeam Backup and Replication
• 
  Full understanding of Microsoft services, active directory, DNS, DHCP, Group policies, server patching and how those managed services tie into a large infrastructure.
• 
  Familiarity with or exposure to automation and orchestration methodologies and systems including API's, scripting, and programming languages i.e. REST API (Application Programming Interfaces), Python, Ansible, NetConf. Including opens source tools is a definite plus.
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of interacting comfortably in a technical environment
• 
  Extremely detailed oriented and creatively inclined
• 
  Able to work independently while adhering to quality-based processes
• 
  Must be highly motivated to acquire networking knowledge
