Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Provide technical expertise in administering, maintaining and supporting of the company's Collaborative and Unified communications infrastructure. Identify and resolve issues, improve system functionality and search for system improvement opportunities. Additionally, maintain and follow all relevant procedures and documentation, reviewing and updating where required.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Ensure operational standards are adhered to meet set KPIs/OLAs
  • Actively look to continuously improve working practices to ensure the team work's as efficiently as possible.
  • Complete the day to day operational activities of the team, respond to client queries and requests for assistance promptly and effectively in accordance with agreed service standards. Escalate any complaints accordingly; ensure they are satisfactorily resolved and long-term corrective action/prevention has taken place.
  • Follow team procedures, identify gaps and resolve effectively.
  • Ensure the Collaborative Services portfolio remains current. Highlight areas requiring refresh albeit from a hardware or software perspective.
  • Demonstrate and deliver excellent service to all clients at all times.
  • Ticket management, includes logging and taking ownership, updating, closing tickets correctly, using the appropriate categories and escalating when appropriate.
  • Assist when instructed to implement and deliver our BR obligations.
  • When requested provide intelligent hands-on support for all areas of the Infrastructure Services Group.

Work Experience / Knowledge:
  • 3+ years in a Collaborative Services Operations role or similar technology.
  • Previous experience in a Financial Services, highly pressured environment essential.
  • Must possess an up-to-date understanding of all Infrastructure technologies and a good technical knowledge of Collaborative Technologies.
  • Certified ITIL Foundation professional or experience working on ServiceNow in ITIL methodology
  • AGILE experience and a scrum member role will be an added advantage
  • Certifications on any of the messaging and unified communciations platform like - MS Teams, Exchange Online, and Office 365 will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge and experience in operational support role or equivalent technologies on following Collaborative and Unified Communications infrastructure:
  • Corporate Email Technologies - MS Exchange Online and Onprem - Exchange 2016
  • Unified Communications - MS Teams, Skype For Business, Audio/Video SRS/Flex devices
  • Telephony Services - Nice InContact, IPC Unigy, and Skyper for Business enterprise Voice
  • Mobility/Mobile Technologies - AirWatch - Boxer/Corp mail/WorkspaceONE and Outlook Mobile
  • Archiving and Journaling Technologies - Symantec Enterprise Vault - Discovery accelebrator, Compliance accelerator, and e-discovery
  • Email gateway and security - ProofPoint and Microsoft Edge
  • Other Collab and Unified Technologies - RightFax, Verba recording solution

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
  • Must have ability to diagnose and solve problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate at all technical levels.
  • Be able to demonstrate commitment to exceptional client service.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and converse in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to work adhere to Invesco technical and operational procedures and policies.
  • The necessary interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate throughout the IT organisation with individuals of varying technical abilities.
  • Self motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and people oriented.
  • Flexible to work in 24 X 7 shift model to cover the Operations support including weekends and late night shifts

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
  • Degree or equivalent experience.

License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
  • None

Working Conditions:
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 30 pounds is also necessary.
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
  • Hours will include shift work covering 24/7 (which includes evenings and weekends)
