Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Independently Work on documents such as installation guide, user guide, online help, release notes, protocol guides, patch notes
Ability to quickly learn and adapt technology, tools, and processes in a fast paced agile environment.
Deliver quality technical documents on time and on scope
Regularly update the lead or manager on the work status
Work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Manage assignments in a professional and proactive manner
Follow all team and organizational processes and culture
Skills:
Write technical information in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct language
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SnagIt
SDLC and DDLC
Ability to identify the moderately complex information needs of a target audience and organize and develop documentation plan that addresses those needs.
Create documentation in Agile or lean software development methodology
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong aptitude to learn complex technical concepts quickly
Constantly think about creating, editing, reusing, and organizing content that will be easy to maintain as the documentation set scales
Good team player

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
3-5 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation
Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for customers
Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.
Familiarity with API documentation for REST or. NET APIs.
Familiarity with working and experimenting with code samples to better understand the needs of API consumers.
Exposure to documentation publishing software (MadCap, RoboHelp, Wiki-based).
Creative skills and usage of photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding
Excellent written skills in English
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the latest authoring tools
Professional Writing or Creative Writing is a big plus
Background in engineering or computer science is an added plus
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player with good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
