The Team: This Team is responsible for providing data support to the analysts that caters to Corporates and Financial Services domain. The Team supports the integrity and comprehensiveness of the data set by utilizing internal & external sources such as government & regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports as well as information databases and our internal research tools to collect, summarize, and synthe relevant information.
You will gain exposure to different reports of covered Industries, while having frequent interaction with global analysts to learn the industry dynamics and create a symbiotic work culture.
The Impact:
This role will involve working with the team and the manager on a variety of initiatives related to the process, people, and projects within the team. This is an opportunity to lead the team consisting of 12 to associates and contribute towards achieving the goals of team. It also includes an opportunity towards understanding business objectives, recommending & implementing solutions to business problems. It gives you opportunities to ideate and implement projects to achieve higher accuracy of dataset and faster completion of processes. Accountability would be towards understanding and owning the business objectives being a role model for people and peer group communicating with passion and enthusiasm, embracing change as a way of working and leading by example when communicating new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 12 to 15 associates.
  • Manage a team in the process of data extraction of information from various sources, tools, and documents.
  • Ensure team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies, and research tools.
  • Work on workflow analysis, management, monitoring, and resource allocation as daily operational activity. Manage the performance of team members and conduct reviews. Conduct intensive trainings for the team, Plan resource requirements and develop back-up and succession plans.
  • Creating an environment of consistent improvement, motivating the team to perform at a higher efficiency and foster a culture and initiatives that focus on team building and unity.
  • Manages the performance review process, talent development and talent management processes of the team.
  • Present and execute ideas for improving overall departmental processes, procedures, and tools. Continuously implement and innovate techniques to maximize productivity.
  • Interact with internal and external clients as necessary and works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.

  • Experienced in Client Management / Stakeholder Management.
  • Self-motivated individual with proven ability to multi-task and balance various aspect of work while delivering highest quality result.
  • Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines and result oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive change within the team.
  • Good knowledge of Data/Content Management operations and knowledge of Fundamentals processes would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Prior experience of 2+ year in people management/leadership role.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL would be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding on lean principles, Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma certification, and SQL would be an added advantage.
