The Role Responsibilities

  • Design and execute project Release according to the bank%26rsquo;s strategy

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

  • Apply this awareness to how projects are set up and executed.

  • Lead/Conduct all processes required for the assigned project.


People and Talent






  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

  • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.

  • Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.

  • Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.

  • Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.


Risk Management

  • Deliver projects with awareness of the Bank%26rsquo;s operational risk framework.

  • Manage projects in line with the Bank%26rsquo;s processes on project risk management.


Governance

  • Execute all project governance according to the Bank%26rsquo;s project management standards



Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group%26rsquo;s Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Lead the assigned project team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank%26rsquo;s Conduct Principles.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

  • Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across the program.

  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the planned CRs.

  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.

  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and support in conducting Go/No-Go reviews.

  • Do quality check on Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans.

  • Weekly Release Reporting.

  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.

  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.

  • Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges.

  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.

  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.

  • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.

  • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.

  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

  • Measure and Monitor progress to ensure Releases are delivered on time and they meet or exceed expectations.


COMPETENCIES:
Must Have:

  • Previous experience as a Release Manger in Identity and Access Management projects.

  • Previous experience as a Release Manger in Identity and Access Management projects.

  • Good at articulating release notes for all the releases

  • Good at engaging different stakeholders throughout the release cycle.

  • Any prior experience on activities mentioned in Roles %26amp; Responsibilities


Good to have:

  • Understands Technical aspects/impacts of SailPoint Project.

  • Have understanding on DevOps terminologies and processes.
