Purpose:
  • Analyst development is responsible for getting requirement from Business and should be convert the requirements into functional specification document and detailed technical specification document.
  • The Candidate should have strong technical and product functional knowledge to arrive technical solution for the business requirement. He should clearly document and explain the solution with Business to get their approval.
  • The Candidate might lead a small two or three team members of development, will do situation management during development, testing and implementation cycles. A Key dimension of this role is bringing continuous improvement culture in the team and bringing automation first attitude of team.
  • Also, this role will be required ongoing engagement with Dev, Test, DevOps, BA, Infra Teams to drive BCRS regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholder demands and expectations while maintaining quality and delivery of support operations.
  • Effectively lead small team of development having two or three Jr. resources.
  • Should conduct regular status call and share status reports with ITO team.
  • Collect requirements JIRA/CR# from ITO team and analyse it and propose right solution.
  • Based on requirement, should to do proper IA in the existing application.
  • Convert requirements into FSD/TSD
  • Walkthrough FSD %26amp; TSD with ITO team and take it into development.
  • Bring automation in all solutions.
  • Implement Incident Management Practices with Blameless Post-mortems and driving Repeated Incident Themes to closure.
  • Make sure all deliverables should meet delivery process like TDA, SIA, RAT.
  • Setup testing environments and support testing cycles.
  • Publish status reports with all stakeholders and highlight if any risk in development and implementation cycles.
  • Patches implementations in non-prod and provide support to promote into prod environments.
  • Make sure proper code version should be maintained.
  • Evaluates and implements new technologies personally, in line with bank strategy
  • Documents and publishes standards and procedures
  • Keeps current with new practice and technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements
  • Thought lead as teams' transition to Agile and Cloud ecospheres
  • Identifies and recommends new technology or practices that will add value to the organization in terms of performance and cost
  • Undertakes continuous improvement for the dev practice.
  • Training new staffs.

GENERAL SKILLS:
  • Established professional with 7 or more years working across the development and production implementation and minimum 2-3 years in Banking domain.
  • Communicator with ability to lead and easy to adopt in any new technologies.
  • Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver customer obsessed support.
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution abilities and soft skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time managementskills.
  • Self-Development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends in technology.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
  • Seven or more years strong experience in IT Development and SDLC processes.
  • Good in Oracle concepts and in-depth knowledge in SQL, PLSQL in 11g/12/19c.
  • Excellent skills in Linux scripting and Control-M draft design and problem fixing.
  • Knowledge in Java and understanding of its concepts.
  • 2-3 years in Banking domain and its product development.
  • Converting requirement into FSD/TSD.
  • Code maintenance and process automation.
  • Use JIRA and Confluence in development, testing and implementation cycles.
  • Manage small technical team.
  • Strong knowledge in Moody's risk authority tool customization and its functionality.
  • AWS / Azure cloud knowledge and any training completed.
  • Solid understanding of SRE, Agile, Cloud, DevOps etc
  • Automation of Support tasks with implementation experience using BMC Control-m, Rundeck, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.
  • An understanding of Unix and Windows host operating systems.
  • Experience with Compliance and Regulatory constraints required.
