The Role Responsibilities


Strategy

  • Should be an SRE Engineer with min 10+ years&rsquo experience.

  • Work with SRE to run the production environment of monitoring solution ensuring availability by taking a holistic view of system health

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in similar role at a Production Support or Technical Contact Centre which has multiple clients, multiple technology platforms and domain

  • Build automation solutions and mechanisms to run through the migration effectively

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team on strategic goals and deliverables

  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

  • Should have good knowledge on database (or no sql db), scripting (unix, java, python, cloud),

  • Experience analysing hardware and software problems and making a diagnosis quickly

  • Strong customer service background, ability to work in a team environment, enjoy working with people

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills & Crisis Management Skills

  • Self / Quick Learner / Proven ability to Multitask

  • Ability to ensure all client requirements are met along with overall client satisfaction.

  • Adherence to the specified standards of Quality and Audit / Risk requirements

  • Coordinating with other business functions to develop and implement plans


Business

  • Achieving assigned full year objectives as per annual P3 document

  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts

  • Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives

  • Daily tasks include providing Level2/Level 3 support to these environments. This means solving incidents and problems and applying changes according to the defined process

  • Passion to drive automation with an objective to eliminate toil. Should have proven deliverables on successful automation use cases

  • Create positive relationships with SCB Group Technology partners

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters


People and Talent

  • Build a transparent and collaborative culture in which incentives are based on support of Client Income with specific performance metrics on the Bank's values.

  • To work in partnership with teams across and ensure that the flow trading product is value additive for clients and the bank



Risk Management

  • Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees



Governance

  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business


Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Lead the [PSS L&C Compliance applications] to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment.] *

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.


Key Stakeholders

PSS L&C CFCC Function, Compliance team, relevant Business teams and Internal Regulators
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Substantial experience in the banking industry, including demonstrated success in a similar role.

  • Must possess sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return), excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed and highly varied stakeholders

  • Should be an SRE engineer.
