The Role Responsibilities


Strategy

  • Leading and coaching the organization in its Agile adoption and promoting delivery of business value


  • Teach and Coach Agile practices and values within the organization

  • Influencing change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace

  • Create, build and promote an open, trustworthy environment to practice agile to ensure facilitating discussions, collaborative decision making and conflict resolution

  • Collaborate with the technical squads along with respective Product Owner to ensure backlogs are created, tracked and closed on time.

  • Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint & release planning, derive reasonable timelines along with the team members, organize demos, retrospectives and other related team meetings.

  • Tracking and reporting of all relevant team performance metrics via JIRA to ensure organizational transparency, including but not limited to team velocity, sprint & release status


Business

  • Require a combination of Project Management experience following Agile methodology, and clear understanding of functional flows related to Enterprise Content Management across bank business domains like Retail, PVB, CCIB as well internal systems HR and Finance.


Processes

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing products with strong product management skills.


  • Experience in software product & platform upgrade & data migration skills &ndash to come up with software upgrade strategy and plan exploring all possible options to chose the best along with risk framework for all given approaches to recommend the best to choose.

  • Experience in leading two to four teams concurrently, with direct responsibility for tracking & reporting on key metrics.

  • Experience in managing large enterprise level products and their Infrastructure platforms with respect to each product&rsquos roadmap, obsolescence, risks and remediation.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply best practices of agile including backlog management, capturing burndown & velocity metrics and task level definition/estimation.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure to manage competing demands

  • Strong judgment, with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions and follow through.

  • Creative approach to problem-solving, with a strong customer focus and commitment to deliver

  • Team-player attitude with an individual contribution skills, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish high-trust professional relationships quickly

  • Combined 10+ years experience in the capacity of Project manager, delivery manager, technical lead or developer

  • Experience in enterprise content management domain to handle content storage / retrieval and archival platforms knowledge

  • Relevant Agile training and Certified Scrum Master or similar certification is a plus


Risk Management

  • Ability to manage and track project risks from identification to closure and help the team to mitigate the risks using acceptable risk mitigation strategies.


Governance

  • Good Understanding of product planning concepts including personas, minimal viable and minimal marketable product, product visioning and release roadmaps.

  • Partners closely with the Programs/Projects lead to ensure that the delivery organization is synchronized with the Programs and Projects objectives.

  • Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.

  • Extensive change and programme management experience, ideally gained in a software / infrastructure development environment using Agile ways of Working

Our Ideal Candidate


Digital Foundation Technology Content Management is a team that enables bank&rsquos major digitization agenda massively to ensure the content digitization, content management which includes content archival/retrieval with appropriate storage architecture in place. These products are bank&rsquos standard platforms for Customer in-bound, Customer out-bound content. Other products within the stream that helps content classification, data extraction using some of the AI/ML techniques like OCR/ICR/NLP.
This team helps automates content management, content extraction/automation via APIs and serves across business, interfacing with 100+ business systems for various advanced content management techniques.
As per recent strategic direction these content management products are planned to be managed both &ldquoon-prem&rdquo and start with the journey to move to Cloud too.

  • Bachelor&rsquos or higher degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in banking domain.

  • 2+ years of strong experience as Scrum Master for Agile Project(s).

  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or PSM I or equivalent) is highly preferable.

  • Experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development.

  • Experience in driving automated software testing

  • Excellent communication and written skills.

  • Experience in stakeholder management. Demonstrated relationship building skills - both internal and external across multiple jurisdictions

  • Experience in delivering software in a regulated environment, ideally financial services based to high quality.

  • Ability to deliver outcomes efficiently despite complexity and ambiguity

  • Strong knowledge of risk and regulatory delivery.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Excellent Squad driving and tracking / reporting skills
